Privacy

Last updated October 4, 2026

The short version

  • Your recordings are private. No other user can open them.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not use your recordings to train AI models.
  • You can download or delete anything, including your whole account, at any time.

What we store

  • Your account: your email address and a password. The password is kept only as a secure hash, never in readable form.
  • Your ideas: the audio files you add, and whatever you write about them: titles, notes, tags, instrument, key, tuning, BPM, mood, dates, and the projects you put them in.
  • Your subscription: whether it is active and when it renews. Card details are entered on Stripe’s pages and never reach Ember. Stripe receives your email address and an internal account ID, so the payment can be matched to your account.
  • Technical logs: the services that run Ember keep standard request logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and troubleshooting.

Who can open your recordings

Audio is kept in private storage. The database only releases a file to the account that owns it, and each time you press play Ember creates a link to that file that expires within an hour. Nothing in your library has a public address.

The people who operate Ember can technically reach stored data in order to run and repair the service. We do not listen to your recordings, except when you ask us to look into a problem with a specific file.

What we do not do

  • We do not use your recordings, titles or notes to train AI models, and we do not share them with anyone for that purpose.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • We do not run advertising or advertising trackers on Ember.

Services we rely on

Ember is built on these providers. Each one processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

  • Supabase: sign-in, the database, and audio file storage.
  • Vercel: hosting for the website and app.
  • Stripe: payments and subscription management.

Cookies

Ember sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and two short-lived ones that make sign-up and account deletion work. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages.

Deleting your data

  • One idea: deleting an idea removes its entry and its audio file from storage right away.
  • Your account: the Account page has a delete button. It cancels your subscription, removes every audio file, then deletes your sign-in together with every idea and project. It also asks Stripe to delete your customer record.
  • If your subscription ends: your library becomes read-only. You can still listen, download and delete. Nothing is removed automatically.

Deleted data may remain in routine backups kept by our providers for a limited period before it is overwritten. Stripe may keep records of past payments under its own privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

You can see, change, download and delete your data inside the app. Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your personal information. To use them, or to ask anything about this page, write to admin@azulafiteco.com.

Children

Ember is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
