A sample library with five saved ideas. One is playing.

You know you made something good. Now you can find it.

Save it before it is gone

Pick a voice memo from your phone and it is saved. No form to fill in. A title is optional, and everything else can wait until you feel like it: instrument, key, tuning, BPM, mood, notes.

Add twenty at once if you have a backlog. Each one is ready to play the moment you choose it.

Find it by what you remember

Search every word you can recall: the tuning, the mood, a note you left, the song it was meant for. Narrow by instrument or tag with one tap.

Two ideas, found by the name of the song they were for.

Watch a song catch light

Gather the fragments that belong together into a project. Ember lines them up in the order you recorded them, so you can hear where a song started and how far it has come.

Every idea is drawn as a coal. This week’s are still glowing. Older ones have cooled. A project runs from the first cold spark to the take you made today.

Unreleased music stays yours

  • Private by default

Your files are tied to your account. No other user can open them, and nothing in your library has a public link.

  • Not used to train AI

Ember stores your recordings and plays them back to you. That is all it does with them.

  • Download any time

Every idea keeps its original file. Take it back whenever you want.

  • Not held hostage

If you stop paying you can still listen, download and delete. You just cannot add or edit until you renew.

$20 a year. That is the whole price list.

  • 2 GB of storage for your recordings
  • Search, tags, instruments, keys, tunings, BPM, notes
  • Projects, with every idea in the order you made it
  • Works in the browser on your phone and your computer

Good to know

What kind of files can I add?

Audio: m4a, mp3, wav and most other formats, up to 50 MB per file. Not video.

How much fits in 2 GB?

It depends on how your recordings are saved. Compressed audio at 64 kbps takes about half a megabyte a minute, so 2 GB holds roughly 70 hours of it. Uncompressed CD-quality WAV takes about 10 MB a minute, so about 3 hours. Your Account page shows how much you have used.

Is there an app to install?

No install needed. Ember runs in your phone’s browser. You can add it to your home screen and open it like any other app.

Can I record straight into it?

Not yet. Record with whatever you already use, such as Voice Memos, then add the file. It takes a few seconds.

What does early access mean?

Ember is new. The core works: saving, finding, and building projects. Expect it to improve quickly, and tell us what is missing at admin@azulafiteco.com.
